Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (or Chris Oyakhilome) was born on the 7th of December 1973, to Tim Oyakhilome as the first child. After his first and second education, he attended Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma (Edo State), Nigeria, where the university awarded him a BSc. in Architecture.



AAU also gave him an honorary Doctor of Science Award. He also has an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was once married to Anita Obhodaghe, and they are blessed with two children.

While still studying at AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his path into ministry. Chris Oyakhilome Family At the time, the Believers' LoveWorld Fellowship, now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated was known as Youths For Christ (YFC).

YFC grew quickly and was the largest campus-based group. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is home to the headquarters of the church. Believer's LoveWorld is a global organization that has millions and associates worldwide.

Through the 2002 atmosphere of the miracles show, BLW became Africa’s most well-known Christian ministry. They stopped airing the program in May 2004, after the then President of Nigeria- President Olusegun Obasanjo declared that miracles must be stopped by the churches.

BFAM has distributed hundreds of thousands of free copies of the Rhapsody Bible to communities, hospitals, prisons as well as private and public institutions across the globe which include Gambia, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Philippines, Brazil, Egypt, Poland, Cambodia, Sri Lanka and Turkey.
