Minecraft can be played either alone or with a few players and makes the experience even more fun and delightful. There are many ways to setup multiplayer games with each one having its pros and cons. The process is easy however, it may differ according to the platform and distance between players.

There are two official Minecraft editions: Java and Bedrock. The Bedrock version, previously called Pocket Edition, is supported on various platforms, including Android, iOS and Windows 10, Xbox One, PS4, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.

There are a few things you should keep in mind prior to making an online game. Every player who wishes to connect must run the same version of Minecraft (Java, Bedrock). When these requirements are met, the users can start a multiplayer game.

There are four ways Minecraft gamers can build an online game.

Minecraft PE: Connecting with friends

1) Sending an invitation for a friend

Gamers can either send invitations to their friends to join their world, or connect to their friends' world. This is a simple procedure that requires users to open the game and enter the world they want to invite friends to. Once they have entered the world, they have to send an invitation to their friend.

Xbox Live friends can be added to Minecraft and, if the name of the friend isn't visible the player can add them through their gamer tag.

2) LAN setup

To play multiplayer games via this method, users must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Once they have completed this, they can start their game and play in the world they would like to play in.

The host can then launch the entire world. The players can join by clicking the Play button. This will take them to the Play menu. There, they can navigate through the Friends section on the top of the page and see the game's corresponding LAN game.

3) Joining an online server

To connect to an online server in Minecraft Bedrock, players should know the server's name, address/URL, and port number. Once you have all the necessary information start the game and click Play. From there, go to Servers through the Play Menu. There will be plenty of servers already present.

Gamers can join any of these servers, or, if they'd like to join another server, they need to scroll down until there will be an option called Add Server. After filling out all the information players can join the server that interests them. Minecraft servers

They can browse MinecraftPocket-Servers or Minecraftlist.org to find and join the server they feel best suits them.

4) Minecraft Realms

Minecraft Realm gives users the best experience in multiplayer by offering a bunch of spectacular worlds to explore while giving them the ability to create and host their own games.

Up to ten gamers can play on the server simultaneously The most amazing feature is that even if the server is not online the other players can still enjoy the game.

It is very easy to create Realms in Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Players need to go to their Play menu and then, in Worlds, just below the Create New button, the Realms option will be displayed. Once the realm is created, players can invite their friends to join it.

Realms can only be joined by those who have been invited. Once they have accepted the invitation, players are able to navigate to the Friends section of the Play menu. There, they will be able to see the Realm name they have been invited to and tap on it to go to the realm.
