Microsoft Teases New Xbox Game With Popular Developer Hideo Kojima

Microsoft announced that it has partnered with Hideo Kojima (the director of the hit games like Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding) for its Xbox video game console. Kojima announced the partnership in a recorded message , but did not give any specifics about the game, its name or the date it will be launched.



"It may take some time," Kojima said through a translator during the announcement. Popular developer and leader of Kojima Productions, Kojima is famous for his dedication to the highest quality of his games. Sometimes, it takes many years. Kojima hinted that Microsoft's cloud gaming technology will be a key element of the title, adding that it's a game that he's "always wanted to make." REVIEWS



Microsoft's announcement was made as part of its annual summer announcement event, which also included the unveiling of the brand new action game Minecraft Legends and the space adventure game Starfield which will be released in the coming year. REVIEWS Microsoft also used the event to announce details about upcoming releases of anticipated games such as Activision Blizzard's web-based battle game Overwatch 2 and its next big dungeon-horror game, Diablo 4.



Kojima's team is working on a sequel for its cult PlayStation game, Death Stranding.
