We hope you're not too attached to either of the Minecraft Java and Bedrock editions of one of the best building games on PC, as Microsoft and Mojang have confirmed that both will cease to exist on June 7 - and be replaced by the Minecraft Java and Bedrock Edition, so you don't have to use them separately anymore.

Whether or not you're a fan of the phenomenal sandbox game, you may still be confused by the presence of two different versions of Minecraft on PC - the Java and Bedrock editions. PCGamesN has a handy guide that explains the difference between them, but you won't be able to access the other if the Java or Bedrock editions were purchased. This is a little crazy.

Mojang, Microsoft and others clearly agree. This edition will go on sale June 7th and will become "the only and standard offering of vanilla Minecraft on Windows PC."

Anyone who has either the Java or Bedrock editions of Minecraft will be upgraded to the combined edition. This upgrade is automatic, although it may take up to three days for all eligible players to see the game.

Mojang has confirmed that Java and Bedrock will continue to be separate games with their unique features. The good news is that both are now available together. It should make downloading Minecraft much easier. Just another wordpress site
