All About Minecraft
Go to Minecraft Forge to download the mod loader which is exactly matches the Minecraft version you want to modify. We recommend you to choose the installer-win (Or installer if you are using other OS) since it is more user-friendly.
Part 2 : Install Mod Loader NOTE: Make sure you have the correct minecraft version downloaded to your computer prior to installing Mod Loader.
1. To install, start the installer. Mini Blog on the Install Client, then press OK.
2. The installer will start patching version files and download any required libraries from the web.
Note: Launchers that are cracked can cause the installation process to fail. This guide will help you solve the issue.
3. When just another mini blog open the Minecraft launcher, you will find that a profile called Forge is added to your profile list. You can delete the profile and then create your own profile to select the Forge version manually.
Optional: You can erase your Forge profile and change the version name to whatever you prefer. However, this requires some additional skills that I will not discuss here.
Part 3: Install Mod 1. Open the .minecraft folder in your AppData and verify if there is mods in the folder. If you don't see it, then create it.
2. Google for mods! I'm currently testing this Minimap mod. You must make sure that you are running the correct version of the mod installed, or it won't work!
Note: Before installing any mod, ensure you read the description requirements, the description, and even the help!
3. Cut/Copy and paste the mod (Usually in a .jar file) into your mods folder within .minecraft.
Part 4 - Loading mods into game Start the Forge Minecraft Version. The screen will show. If it's installed correctly, you should end up with the number of mods that are installed and 3 displayed at the bottom left corner of the screen.
NOTE 1 : If you install multiple mods at once You may find that it is incompatible with other mods. To determine if you have any incompatible mods, be sure you check their mod pages. Note 2 : It is recommended to install mods 1 by one to see which one can cause problems in the game. This makes it easier to diagnose the mod issue.
