1 Open the Minecraft launcher.

3 Search for the "mods" folder. If you don't already have it, create one and name it "mods".

4 If your mod file is zip file, when you download it from the internet Don't extract it. drag the zip file into the "mods" folder. If the zip file contains Jar files, you'll only have to drag the jar file into the "mods" folder.

5 Open your minecraft launcher again (Make sure you've set up your Forge profile If you haven't then read Part 3 again). You can click "Play" to begin the downloading of the additional libraries. Once the download is complete you can begin playing your mod game. Everything is updated , and I tried everything I could to get it to load. All I see is the launch screen. What can I do to improve the experience?

Some mods require core mods (e.g. CodeChickenCore requires core mods, so be sure to go through the mod's webpage prior to downloading. It will not work if it doesn't contain the core mods that are required.
