Minecraft creators are constantly creating new games and we're not about to stop them. We wrote about Wordle at the end of March. Today we present another player who recreated the famous Minesweeper with Redstone and an astronomical number of moving parts.

The map was created by CraftyMasterman who put an article up on Reddit showing off the. Although the video doesn't show much other than the scale of your device, it looks amazing. Lava is used to represent the numbers. There's even a tiny handheld map that you can view while you play to replicate what's happening on the board.

CraftyMasterman has an instructional video showing how this build was constructed. It is revealed that this construction was part of a huge Redstone build contest with the possibility of a huge prize pool. $10,000 USD was available for the person who came up with the most impressive Redstone creation.

When CraftyMasterman could not finish his work in time for competition judging, he decided to keep going after making a bet on his fame as a redstone legend on it. He continued to work on it for two weeks, making several variations before presenting the final version to the judges.

Even as a seasoned Minecraft player, the complexity of the build is awe-inspiring. The builder has to not just create the board itself which is huge, but they also need to make it display numbers and count the number of TNT blocks around it, and then randomly distribute it in a convincing enough way to make the game entertaining. Naturally, it's much more than a typical Minecraft player can do, or ever be able to do.

This is a great illustration of what Minecraft can do. You can download it here to play around in the world. You should always ensure safe downloading.
