Can I Run Minecraft?

You don't require diamonds in your chest to build a gaming computer capable of meeting the Minecraft system requirements, but the game does have some features available to those who have more powerful systems.

To construct a Minecraft rig that meets the minimum system requirements, you'll require an Intel CeleronJ4105 processor or AMD FX-4100 processor. Additionally, you'll need an Intel HD Graphics 4000 graphics card or AMD Radeon R5 graphics card, and 4GB of RAM. Minecraft is only 1GB of your storage. This will increase as you expand the worlds you build be sure to upgrade to Windows 10 64-bit.

You don't need to spend a lot of money if you want to beat the Minecraft recommended system requirements. Performance can be improved by upgrading to an Intel A7-6500U or AMD AMD A8-6600K, specifically when paired up with an NVIDIA GeForce 940M GPU or AMD Radeon HD-8570D GPU. It is also necessary to double your RAM to get 8GB total.

The primary difference between Minecraft RTX's system requirements, and the standard game, is the GPU they use. An Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 is needed, at the minimum, to enjoy the ray tracing feature in Minecraft, and you cannot use an AMD Radeon card.

Minecraft Steam

It is not possible to download Minecraft on Steam and it is unlikely to ever be possible. It's still available through PC Game Pass and the legacy Java edition can be downloaded on the official website.

Minecraft Java and Bedrock Edition for PC

As of June 7, previously separate Java and Bedrock versions of Minecraft are now only available as a single package. This package will permit owners of both versions to upgrade their licenses to the all-in-one package. This should allow players to play both versions.

Minecraft performance guide

There are many ways to increase the frame rate of Minecraft.

There are the obvious alternatives, like switching your graphics from "Fancy” to "Fast" and reducing the render distance and removing the clouds, or turning off more complicated particle effects and lighting. You can also choose to run the game on a smaller or bigger screen. The former helps by giving your computer less information to process, while the latter is by making sure that your computer is focused solely on Minecraft. If one method isn't working, try the other. - If you're playing on an online multiplayer server, playing with lots of other players can cause significant delay. Set up your base at a place that is more remote. - If you want to see if your frame rate is stable You can display the debug screen by pressing F3. If you're still having issues start Task Manager and make sure you set Minecraft to high priority. Check out the Minecraft Dungeons system requirements?
